Linda	Posted on Friday, December 08, 2006 - 12:01 am:    This is new for me but believe I have a spirit and do not feel it is bad. Total novice at this. For months now have had door bell ringing, lights flashing off and on, tv on and off and definately no explanation. I don't know if this is my Mom who died 40 years ago, my best friend who died 2 years ago,or an earthbound spirit or someone else. Would love to be able to call on Tara or Mary Ann as I am in California; can call you back. Need to know what is going on. The house has been blessed by Pastor twice before. Don't have any idea what to do. Thanks..... Linda in S.CA. Hi Linda, Without talking to you from the house Mom or myself can not tell who is there. You did not say if after the house was blessed the activity slowed down. You should try to smudge the house. The smudge stick is what Native Americans used to purify. You should be able to find one at any metaphysical store, health food stores, or even sometimes book stores. The instructions on how to use it should be included. Make sure you do all spaces in the house (closets garage etc). It probably would not hurt to do all the cars that are there also.

I want to get a good nights sleep with out chasing any thing away before I can get Tara to come over. I don't want anyone to come back after you have been here thanks ET Hi, Smudging will not normally remove the earthbound spirit, it will make them less active. I see no problem in using the smudge stick in as many or few places as you want.

I went to the negative energy workshop that your mom had last weekend, and she mentioned about appearing on a radio program sometime in the near future. I believe that the channel that she said she would be on is 104.1, but I could be wrong. Anyways, I was just wondering if you knew anything about her radio appearance, and if you do, do you know what day and time it would be on? Thank you very much. Thanks, Mary Hi Mary, You have freedom of choice when you are alive and also once you die. I believe that to continue to grow you must cross into the light. You can not force an earth bound spirit to cross over, it has to be their choice.

Hi, Mom and I can only sense earth bound spirits. We would have you call our number and leave a one minute message. This workks best if you use a land line if at all possible. If there are any earth bound spirits from where you are calling from we would be able to tell you.

I live here with my dog, and my cousin, her fiance and baby live downstairs. When I am away with the dog, my cousin sometimes hears footsteps across her bedroom ceiling, which is below my dining room. Also my dog has been acting strange, the other night, she was looking at the wall while we were in bed, and the hair was up on her back, and she like rolled over and looked over the bed. It was weird. As I am typing this message, I looked over at my bed, and she was hiding under there, peeking out at me. She never goes under my bed unless her toy is under there. Let me know if there is anything I can do. Is this something that I would need you to come out here and get rid of. I will be leaving you a message. Thanks, Angela Hi Angela, I would need to talk to you from the house to see exactly what is happening. It would not hurt till you call to have the house blessed and or smudge the house. This will quiet any earthbound spirits if they are there.

I had a few questions, I noticed the other day when my two sisters and I and our 3 nieces and a nephew went to the mall...we noticed that at first the lights above started to flicker in and out and then when we stopped directly below it, it went out. My sister and I thought nothing of it at first, just a coincidence, then it happened again a few yards away. My sisters and I have also noticed that when we are separate from each other, lights in the streets flicker or die or come on when we are further away from it. It does not matter if we are in or outside of our vehicles. Being somewhat a skeptic, I think it's coincidence, but now I'm seeing it happen around my nieces. Is it possible for spirits to hang out all the time inside and outside the house around certain family members? I have a strong feeling and I'm trying to stay open minded, that there are good spirits around, maybe relatives that have passed on, but I also know that it's not healthy either. All the kids have respiratory illnesses and the adults have gastro problems. We always think that perhaps it's coincidence and we live in an area with bad air, but all year round? Allergies? Possible? But, now that I've been reading more, I really think something needs to be done. Our homes have been blessed by a priest, but do they need to do that frequently? I tried the smudging and it worked for awhile and I know I have to do it again. I'm not really sure what's going on and hopefully I will get a chance to call your Mom from my family's house. Maybe she can help us out. It's rather interesting and I am trying to keep an open mind too because it all could be coincidence and maybe we just live in an area where more people get sick? Well, I do appreciate your time and thank you, Melissa Hi Melissa, It is a definite posibility that you can have spirits around you all the time. Spirits that have crossed over pose no problem and give us good energy. As in guardian angels spirit guides etc. The problem is spirits that have not yet crossed over. You only need to have the house blessed once. You can smudge as often as you feel it is needed. Hi Again, A second thought on the blessing of the house. After giving it more thought, you could have the house blessed as many times as the church or minister you are working with would do it.

I talked to your mom on the telephone, and she told me that I have two spirits in my house. I went to her seminar at Akron Library last weekend, and she told me there that me and my family had a lot of negative energy around us. Your mom had sheets at the seminar for one of her Negative Energy workshops that she is having in October. The question that I have is... would I be better off going to one of these seminars, or would I be better off in trying to set up an appointment with your mom to have her come down and clean out my house and remove the spirits and negative energy? Thank you very much. Hi Sandi, I talked to Mom over the weekend to see what would be best. If you take the workshop you will have the knowledge to remove the negative energy yourself from the family. Mom would still have to come out to remove the spirits from the house. I guess it would be your choice on which would be better for you. If you have any questions do not hesitate to call Mom.

Thank you, Lisa H. Hi Lisa, Without you calling me from your house( or where you are smelling these things) I can not tell. If you can think of who they remind you of, that would be a start. Many times spirits that have crossed over will leave a familiar smell behind to let you know that they have paid you a visit.

Aligator (Aligator) Username: Aligator	Posted on Thursday, September 07, 2006 - 11:03 am:    Hi, My brother was entertaining relatives for a week and his relatives 3 year old daughter is having trouble with nightmares at his house and is having conversation's with something, when they ask her who she is talking to, she answers " Josie " and tell's her mom, we don't have these at our house. this sent chill's up the spine of my teenaged nephew who lives there, and has weired feeling's of a presence being there, and my brother has had major health issues living at this home, in a particular room upstairs of this home, the doors often opens on it's own, and a few years ago, we photographed the room for unrelated reasons, every picture contained many orb's, everyone else in the house has no problems with sleeping or nightmares, my brother is very religeous and is scratching his head, could this energy be affecting his health? and if so, what would be the best approach to clear it out? P.S. I read Maryann's book and I think she is a wonderful help to other's with her great gifts, I hope she continues to write more of her memoirs. Hi, Without talking to someone from the house I have no idea what is going on. The orbs you see in the pictures are spirits that have crossed over, and should cause no problems in the house. I would suggest having the house blessed by a priest or minister. Also it never hurts to smudge the house. Smudging usually will last about two to three weeks. Neither of these things will eliminate the presence of an earth bound spirit, but it will quiet them down where they do not cause the problems that you are having.

I recently saw the movie World Trade Center, the story of three Port Authority Cops who were trapped in the rubble when Building one collapsed. It was a very sobering look at the lives of some of the people who were affected by this horrible act of terror. This movie was mainly about those cops and their familes and there were thousands of these stories that came out of that sad happening. At the end of the movie the epilogue stated that 2,749 people lost their lives because of that terrible day, a day that will live in infamy. My first thoughts were about the survivors who have had to go on with their lives what with all the pain they must have exerienced. Then I wondered about all the peole who died so suddenly without fore warning of any kind when the planes exploded into the buildings. There was a mass exodus of souls at that time. I pray there was someone there, maybe hundreds of God's angels who came to make sure these souls would go into the light. Then again, perhaps many of those souls would not leave because of the desire to be close to their loved ones. I guess my question to you and to your Mom is do you have any reason to believe that many of those people who died then are earthbound. I think yours and your Mom's ability to see and help earth bound spirits are a gift from God and by these gifts you both will shed light to a world that is mostly clothed in spiritual darkness. I am interested in any thoughts you both might have on this subject. I respect your thoughts and opinions. Thanks alot. Hi, Mom spent time in New York after nine eleven. I feel that a majority of the spirits have crossed over. Most waited for their memorial service to be held, but again I think most are now where they should be.

Does she talk to the dog telepathically to let him know that she knows he is there and that she still loves him? I had to put one of my dogs to sleep three years ago and I have felt his presence many times but have not seen him telepathically. My other dog is 13 years old and in bad health with an enlarged heart and other complications. I have told him that when he crosses over to go into the light so he can be with his buddy who passed away. I told him not to wait on me because he will be going to a wonderful place where he will be young again and will be able to do all the fun things he could do as a young puppy. I hope I am right about that. What do you think? Hi, Mom sees Major just like she would see any human spirit. He still will knock the pillows off the couch every now and then.

Say, like dogs and cats that are so loved by their owners. When they die what happens to their spirits. Do they wonder around staying close to their human owners or do most of them go to heaven and how so. Like with babies a angel comes to carry them to the other side. Is it the same with animal spirits? Hi, Some of the animal spirits seem to stay with their owners, while others cross over immediately. Mom's pet dog Major still with her. He died almost sixteen years ago. I think it is the animals choice on what they want to do. I do not know if they have help crossing over.

I noticed my other posting did not appear yesterday so here it is again: I received the smudging sticks and book yesterday and I finished the book in hours instead of days, it was so difficult to put down. I am now going to pass it around for family members to read. It was easy to understand and it was quite an eye opener and in some cases, I could relate to them. For those of you who have not read it yet, I would highly recommend it. I am not one to buy books because I always think I can wait until it goes on sale or it hits the library. But this time, I was compelled to buy it and read it. I did and I do not regret it one bit. Thank you Maryann, for sharing to the public your stories. I have just tried the smudging because the whole family is out. The true test will be my young 2 year old niece who seems to see a "boy" and other things. My other niece, who is now 8 years old, used to see things when she was about her sister's age, but she used to see "angels". Anyways, I will keep you posted and updated on the "smudging". I need some assistance, please. Thanks again. Hope it works, I know people dear to me that really need some help. Hi, You would sign the check before the peak of the new moon in your time zone. The moon would peak three hours after it does in the eastern time zone, so you need to use your time. You mentioned people dear to you could use help. Make sure they do their own check. It works best because you are putting your personal energy into it.

Do spirits' energies trigger the sounds or do they like imitating voices of living family members or playing tricks on people? Do you believe in EVP and is that bad to utilize that form of communication? Hi, I think what you are hearing is a spirit that is trying to get your attention. Sometimes they will use sounds or odors that you are familiar with. i really do not know enough about evp to answer. Sorry.

At first I always thought, it was the house that was haunted, now I know that it is probably our family. My 2 year old niece has verbalized about a "boy" or "scary boy" in her house. She has said it before she was 2y/o. She was never really frightened, she reacts to it as if a strange new person has come to visit us. You know kids and "stranger anxieties". Anyways, my family and my niece just visited the famous "Queen Mary" down in southern california, as soon as my niece came home, she mentioned the "scary boy" and she is now fearful of going to her playroom or upstairs to her bedroom alone. She used to be the fearless niece of all my nieces and nephews. Now she has changed. I feel bad for her and I want to help her and my family. Our homes have always been blessed. Now I am thinking of utilizing the smudging technique. I hope it will help. I want her to be less fearful. Whether or not the smudging works, I will be contacting your Mom via phone and wait for her call. I do understand it may take awhile. I will be patient and hope I do not miss her call. Do you or your Mom know? Thanks, Diane Hi, It has been our experience that all spirits attend their funeral. After the final ceremony they have seventy two to eighty hours to visit and check things out before they loose their white light. This is the case even in the case of a tragic or unexpected death.

The first time I really don't remember much for my son Josh had just passed but this time, after the alarm went off and we disconnected it and placed it in the kitchen, then our bedroom got really hot. So hot that I broke out all over in hot sweats and our dogs started panting. I don't know if this has any meaning but I would also like to mention that on Fathers day approx. 4:00 a.m. I had my first dream of him. How can I talk with you? I should first explain a little history I have always had very vivid dreams, nightmare since I was a baby. However 4 years ago I actually started to wake up in my dream and I would be sitting in my bed but I was aware of myself dreaming needless to say I didn't get out of my bed and woke myself up. Shortly later I started getting this horrible dreams where I would be paralized and now that i was dreaming I would hear cracky noise and I would start panicking and couldn't move. I have no realized I have been having lucid dream after searching on the web and since reading about it I promised myself that I would not panick next time and I would enjoy it. Well after waiting 6 months it finally happen again two weeks ago. However this time it was different. I stayed up really late working on a puzzle to the point where I was falling asleep in the living room. Anyways as soon as I laid down in bed I started to feel myself withdraw inside myself, moving down inside of myself like I was in a mummy's case or something. I kept telling myself not to panick since my initiaion was to freak out. Such a freaky feeling. All of a sudden I heard a lady telling me "Stay with me" she kept repeating it. I finally said "Who are you" and I said it with my mouth however my mouth didn't move it came out through my head and it sounded crisp clear like it would of if I would of spoken it. Oh at this time when I started to hear her I finally stopped being withdrawn down. After I spoke who are you. She said "I am Amy's mom." and once it regestered with me I instantly freaked out. Since I had the feeling that she was dead. I don't know any Amy except for my neighbor and I am not sure if her mother is dead. However I awoke and was shaking and freaking out but I was sooo tired and as soon as my head hit the pillow I started to withdraw inside myself and I was panicking and kept fighting it and would wake up and then it would start all over again except know I had a strong fear that I was tring to be possed it was horrible since i couldn't stop it but after a long time it fealt it stopped happening and I was able to get rest. However the next day I was badly shaken my hands wouldn't stop shaking and now I am scared to sleep. I should mention that I never saw anything when all that happen it was all black but I knew what was happen I could feel my husbands arm next to mine but I couldn't grab it because I couldn't move and I could feel my mouth not move when I spoke. I hope this make sense. I just want to know what this could mean. I haven't had another dream like that since two weeks ago BB Tori Hi Tori, I wish i could give you some insight into your dreams. I do not have a lot of knowledge on dream interpretation. You would have to check with someone who does.

Since you were here and sent our spirt to the light, I was wondering if another could come in or if you could have missed one. As you know we smudged the house and put the quince seeds above our doors. Everything had been going well until the last few nights, I can fell other spirts in our home and feel there presence standing behind me. They even told me who they were. I just started reading your mom's book tonight and it became even more intense. I am not frightened by them and I believe I know why they are here. Why is this and what type of dreams would they be? Would they be dreams where you can talk to the loved one who has passed over or would they just be dreams where you think they are still alive? The reason I am asking is because last night I dreamed my Mother had been murdered and I was trying to find out who murdered her. When she died almost seven years ago I had a feeling that she might have been murdered by a neighborhood woman who was staying with her at night. Money that my Mother kept in a box in the closet was missing, so was jewelry. I went to the police and told them of my suspicions but they said the coroner's report showed that she died from natural causes and they did not feel that my feelings were enough cause for them to investigate the woman. I am wondering why I dreamed this dream last night seven years after her death. When she died I grieved so much for her and asked God to let me see her so that I would know she was okay. I then saw her in the heavenlies dressed in an irridescent gown. She looked like she was 30 years old and I didn't realize it was her until she smiled and I knew without a doubt that it was my Mother. She has visited me two times that I know of and both times there was a crisis of sorts going on and I think she just wanted to let me know that she was looking out for me. I dream about her often but it is like she is still alive. This is the first time I have dreamed that she was no longer alive. Hi Sherrell, I felt that when someone crosses to the light there is a orientation period. That is why it some times takes up to six months before you can dream of someone who has passed on and crossed to the light. You can talk to anyone in your dreams. Before you go to sleep just say to yourself if I dream of Mom tonight I will talk to her. This will usually do the trick.

I am particularly asking about people that were evil in this life. In the tv movie where the plane crashed there were those spirits that declined going into the light and then it showed them going dark and sinking into the earth. Where do the evil spirits go and if they decide to stay earth bound do they have the ability to harm spirits that were not evil on this earth and are just hanging around to see their loved ones grow up, etc. Does your Mother have any thoughts on this subject? I read the book THE THIRD EYE and part of the monks' spiritual training is to learn to do astral traveling. The book indicatd that there were evil spirits out there that could possibly harm a good spirits. I can imagine it would be very tempting to some spirits to be able to move about whenever and wherever they would want without earthly constraints. If the white light only stays with the spirit for a short period of time what would a spirit do to get into the white light after a long period of time. Perhaps God realized that this situation would exist due to free will and therefore gave certain people the ability to create white light for spirits to enter into. Hi Sherrell, Everyone has the choice to go to the light when they die. Mom has always believed that there is some one on the other side directing the spirits on which way they go. The white light is at every funeral service. It is a universal thing. If the spirit has lost theirs all they have to do is find a funeral home that has a service going on and use the light that is there.

To this day his death is still pending autopsy results. One of my questions is, the day he died, that evening I went to the hospital. While in the ER while I was resting with an IV, I saw all yellow. It was comforting, warm, loving, soothing with such an intense feeling I have ever felt. Then my heart monitor went off alarming the nursing staff. My heart went to 118 and my BP was 190. I remember a nurse telling my husband that they had to calm me down. I didn't want to wake up for I wanted to be with my son. Do you have any ideal what the solid yellow color was in my dream? Shortly after he died, of course I wanted to die I was in so much pain. I begged and screamed and cried for him to tell me where he was, was he okay, did he suffer, did he know that he had died and what caused his death. His GF said that he had taken one methadone tablet that evening. (He bought off of a women) I woke up in the middle of the night with a bright white light on the ceiling like a flashlight or UFO quickly moved one way then another. Then I was gone. A couple nights maybe a week later, our smoke detector went off in our bedroom. No other ones went off except our bedroom. Not even the smoke detector outside of our bedroom. There was no reason for it to go off. All the batteries had been changed start of spring. My last question: Tineka my sons GF took a picture of Jazmyn (my sons daughter, my grand daughter)crawling on the floor. Out of all the pictures taken, one picture had a somewhat standing white light off to the side of Jazmyn. My thoughts were that this was Joshua, my son. Can you tell me where he is? Does he know he died? Is he okay? Is he with us? How did he die? Is he in heaven? Any help you can give me would be of comfort and so deeply appreciated. Thank You in advance. One more item, is there anything else that I should add to it. thank you Hi, If you take about half of the mugwort you bought and place it in a handkerchief tie it into a pouch and place it between you pillow and pillowcase that should do the trick. It seems to last quite a while. I do not know what makes it work. if I had to guess I would say it is the aroma.

She was cremated and we had a wonderful service at the cemetery. Mary Ann has often said that the spirit stays with the body until the funeral, but what happens in this case? Did she stay with the ashes? MA has also said there is a white light at the funeral home, but I am wondering if she stayed around until we had the service at gravesite? thanks, debi in Savannah, GA Hi Debi, The final service was at the graveside. I am sure your mom was there. It makes no difference if the body was cremated or buried. The white light is with the person from the time they die, till seventy two to eighty hours after the final service.

From past posts, I know that I should smudge my apartment and bathe in sea salts. My questions are: (1) What do I do with my birds when I smudge the apartment - should I put them in the closet or in my car and how long before I can have them back in the apartment. (2) when using sea salts to bathe in, should I immerse my head underwater in the bath water and if I take a shower to wash my hair afterwards, will it ruin the affects that soaking in sea salts does for me. Hi Paula, When you smudge the smoke usually clears in about an hour. No one has ever asked about birds before. I guess just to be safe if you feel the smudge smoke would bother them you could put them outside in the car. When you take a sea salt bath all you have to do is soak for about ten minutes. You do not have to immerse your head.

I feel that the visions I have are given to me in the hope that I may help find the victim. If the vision is about someone who was kidnapped I know if that person is alive or has passed over. I know that God has given me this ability and I try to use the gift wisely. I do not see spirits just by walking around looking, they come to me or I go into a house where an earthbound spirit may be. So my gift is very limited compared to you and your Mothers'. I ask God to enlarge my gift if it is the will of God the Father in Heaven. Hi Sherrell, You have to be able to visualize. It is a matter of practice. Making the white light and them keeping it open long enough for earth bound spirits to enter. It is the same as when you make the white light to protect yourself.

All of a sudden my little toy Yorkie who was laying on my bed began barking toward the door coming into the bedroom. This little dog has previously heard and seen spirits and it upsets him and I have to tell him that it is a loved one come to visit us and that calms him down. So I knew that a spirit had come into the bedroom and I asked if this was a loved one come to visit us, if so they were welcome. Then I asked if this was my spirit guide or my guardian angel responding to my plea for guidance. I said "please identify yourself or give me some sign that I can understand." All of a sudden a pillow fell from the top of a storage unit next to where I was ironing. This pillow had never fallen from that site before. I thought about this while I continued ironing and as I left to run some errands. The only explanation that I could come up with was that the pillow was brought to my attention because I needed to sleep. I had not slept well for the two previous nights, falling asleep at 4 a.m. one night and 5 a.m. the next night. Well, I slept very well last night and dreamed, but nothing out of the ordinary. I do know that the spirit was concerned that I had not slept for two nights. My question to you is this: Can you identify my spirit guide by talking to me on the telephone? I have read that you can sense if there is a spirit around someone by talking to that person on the phone. Please let me know if you can do this and I will follow up with you. It took that long to settle her estate. I didn't intend to use anything from the box, it was apparent that the box was old and nothing had been opened for use,--it was on the spur of the moment that I decided to buy it out of her home. I now believe the spirit had something to do any my decision to buy the velvet box.I was not aware that the box contained a spirit. Apparently the woman's spirit had gone into the box when she died in a nursing home in a city close to her home town. Her personal effects were returned to her house awaiting such time as her estate was settled and she wanted to go back to her home and I believe that is why she was in the velvet box. She was in my house for one year and I only saw her one time right after I brought the box into my home. That made me aware that I had brought home a spirit and I felt uneasy but I was busy with my occupation and put it in the back of my mind. She liked my house, she would move around in the living room where the velvet box was located. My Dad who lives with me would be sitting in the den watching tv along with my little yorkie dog and he would see the tall form of a woman moving around in the living room and assumed it was me returning from work. Then he would discover that no one was there. After about 15 months in my house (my little dog had been barking a great deal of the time and looking at something that I couldn't see) this spirit showed herself to me one night by absorbing energy from a night light in my bedroom. Her head appeared on my wall, she had long black hair and had a red scarf around her neck. I called the attorney who had settled the estate and he gave me the name of her closest living relative-a nephew who I called to find out what I could about this woman. He said she had spent the last few years of her life in a nursing home and she had lost her memory by the time she died. He said she had been a good woman during her life and he felt she was a christian woman. Then they told me she had long black hair and loved the color red, that she wore red alot when she was alive. At that time I knew for sure that the spirit was his aunt that had passed away. I asked him if there was a message that I could give to the spirit from him and told him I would try to help her go into the light to be with God. She became more active every day, she would make a high pitched noise at times and her perfume would surround me often at night. She frequently appeared as a bright ball of light that would be in the middle of my living room and very quickly travel across the room and disappear into the velvet box. This would happen day and night. My little yorkie stayed on my bed during the day when I worked as he was old and his health was fragile. She went into my bedroom and lay down on my bed and he went crazy. I had to call his doctor for tranquilizers. I asked her if she had a message for anyone in her family, that I would be happy to relay that message but she never talked to me. I gave her a message from her nephew that he loved her and missed her but he wanted her to go into the light. I told her that she did not belong here any more, that she should go into the light so she could be with God and her loved ones that had gone on before her. She must have been happy in my house and didn't want to leave so I felt I would have to do something quite unusual to help her leave. I lit a bright candle in front of the velvet box and left it burning for 24 hours. At the appointed time, the box became translucent at the top and her spirit came out and totally left my home. I am hoping that she went into the bright light that God provides for her but I am not sure. I am still puzzled about her not wanting to leave and why she appeared to me as a ball of light. I know she had lots of energy to work with because I talked to her often to tell her not to go down the hallway to my bedroom and upset my little dog the way she was doing. I didn't realize I was giving her energy by talking to her! Have you had any experience with this type of spirit? Was she hiding in the box so she wouldn't have to leave? Why did she always appear as a bright ball of light(about the size of a baseball)? And especially why do you think she would not talk to me? I am just wondering if you might have some feedback that would help me understand why she was so different from most spirits that I have had show themselves to me and tell me their names, their age, etc. Or any other feelings that you might have about this experience. Will share with you two examples of spirits that have come to me-- One example: An old chinese wizard showed himself to me in the form of a beautiful exotic bird that screeched as it entered the house. Then he appeared to me telepathely(not sure of the spelling-no dictionary handy) and smiled when I told him that I knew he was evil and then he disappeared. Another example: a young seaman from England who particiated in the Revolutionary War came to my house last year. There was a feeling of peace around him, which is surprising since that was a bloody time of American history. He didn't stay long, I think he was just passing through. Hi Sherrell: You have a very unusual way of seeing spirits. I am afraid I have never heard of the way you do it. I can not comment or give any advise.

When I got home that night a family member who sees ghosts said she could not see my father at the wake but her daughter who touched my dad in the casket began to cry suddenly. Her young daughter also has some senses. They put two and two together and found my father was still in his body and was afraid to cross because he was worried about us. And we kept telling him to stay and give us a sign he was ok. That night everyone in my family told him we will be ok and its ok for him to cross over. We also told him the next morning before we closed the casket. When we went to church I felt a sense of relief and could cry no longer. Does this mean he has crossed over? And how will I know if he has since I don't have dreams of even my grandmother whom passed 3 weeks ago? And my family member said she did see my dad the night he passed in her yard and said it was just his time to go. I just want to make sure he is ok. Do you have any information about the process by which spirits interfere in our gastric system? The colon removes moisture from the remains of our digestive system therefor allowing our colon to expel the remaining feces. Could it be that the tension, anxiety, aggravation and sometimes fear is affecting our colon to the extent that moisture isn't properly removed by the colon resulting in cramps, diarrhea or various other systems. Or perhaps there may be something else occuring which causes the bowel problems. I am really interested in this because I have had lower bowel problems for the last three years and during this time I had an uninvited house guest who came for a visit and stayed l5 months. Hi: When there are earth bound spirits in your space it seems that they give health problems to the areas that are most easily upset. In youngsters it is the ear, nose, and throat. In adults in is the lower gi area.

He has gone to the light because you have dreams of him. You would need to talk to a medium who can talk to spirits that have crossed. Try to make sure who you go to is reputable. Try to have someone you trust make a recomendation for someone if it is possible.

My father and I have, what I consider, unfinished anger. I dreamt of my father twice and each time he was at the other end of a table, looking at me and not saying anything. In the last dream, i thought i was awake and ended up forcing myslef to wake up when i realized my father was there and knew he died. Why do you not dream of someone when they haven't crossed over? Hi Robert: When spirits are earth bound they can not come to you while you dream. Once they have crossed over it becomes the best way for them to communicate with you. You can talk to them in your dreams. Before you go to sleep make the suggestion to yourself, that if I dream of dad tonight I will talk to him. Once you dream of him then you can talk and maybe get the answers to your questions.

Take a small amount and wrap it in a handkerchief and tie the corners. place it in between your pillow and pillowcase. Within three weeks it will help you to remeber your dreams. Dream bags are also sold on the web site in the store. Mugwort is one thing that is in them.

She was so helpful and offered to come down to rid the house of the spirits. I said I would try the smudging first and then let her know. Since then, the spirits seem ticked off that I called and now know about them. They have really been messing with me and my roommates in the last week. A little lost about what I ought to do. Hi Tricia; You did not say if you did the smudging. If you did not I would try that. Again if that does not work Mom would have to come in and clear the house.

She has visited her local priest and he seems to believe that the womens spirit is not at rest. She has tried to talk to them but they wont reply. None of the spirits are the women who gave her the clothes. How can she stop them from contacting her and finally get a good nights sleep!! Without talking to your friend from the house I would have no idea who is there or what is happening.

Recently, we felt that someone or something has been trying to contact us. We hear loud banging noises in the house at various times of the night and day, sometimes it sounds as if someone is walking around,lights go on by themselves and dishes seem to fall by themselves. My daughter has told us that she is scared because there is "something" in her bedroom closet. Her bedroom seems to have a very strange energy to it and sleeping in there is almost impossible. We recently found out that my mother's biological father has been reaching out to us (from beyond the grave) to try and tell us about some property that we have inherited. This information was learned at a reading (psychic) that was given about 2 years ago. Is it possible that this could be him making all the noises in our home? We have no way to contact the family (they do not know about us)and we are not sure what to do? Thanks for any help you can give. My best guess would be to go back to the reader that gave you the original information and see if some of the blanks can be filled in now.

If a negative Energy (spirit) is attached to a person, is it possible that the spirit guides cannot see this energy? How does one protect oneself from negative energys Only, attaching to oneself when not in the home? Do spirit guides attach themselves as well? My grandmother is with us, but she has been to the light. The others have unfinished business here, but they are our loved ones and not negative energy. Hi Rosemarie; I would believe that your spirit guides would know if you have negative energy attached to you. One way to protect yourself is with the white light. Mom and I use the quince seeds. Carrying the seed will put a barrier around you and protect you from having negative energy placed on you. I do not think that spirit guides atach themselves to you. I think that they are given to you during your lifetime for guidance, help and protection.

Question: Can the Law of Abundance be used for other things, not specifically for wealth?... such as health, or a change of personal "luck" or fortune? and can it be made out to someone else and not yourself? Hi Rosemarie; The Law of Abundance check must be made out by the person who it is for. Normally the check is used to draw money, but I do not see any reason that it could not also do the other intentions.

We are told by our spirit guides that my fiance has been "hexed' or cursed by a now "deceased" shaman. This Shaman had been voodooing my fiance this last year. He was arrested for drug possession, & while in jail he committed suicide.We have been plagued with bad luck, and whoever tries to help us is also affected. We are experiencing accidents, health problems, checks constantly not reaching us...strange problems always arise to prevent us from moving on and getting stronger. These things also happen to whoever tries to help us. On one episode of Ghost Whisperer, a man almost gets hit on the head by something falling, and a spirit is screaming that the man is hexed. That is the only part I saw on "hexes", but the light went on! No one has this much bad luck without assistance!!!! It appears that our Shaman is also sabbatoging us in his spirit form, perhaps along with the hex he put on before he died. Our guides cannot tell us what to do, but they acknowledge the problem and they want us to research the solution. It is suggested we look for a Karma "specialist-Healer" who can help us to repair our Karmas and make us stronger so we can rid ourselves of this negative energy in our lives (and our loved ones)I have the book the Magic Shild, which has been a god send, but it is not enough for this problem. Can you help us or at least point us in the right direction? We live in Western Canada. We are so frustrated. Good always wins over Evil! Asking this Q as I ordered one, but I am wondering if this will be enough. I also mentioned last time that my calculator was processing numbers on its own. Could that be a way of trying to communicate a specific message or just getting attention? Hi Julie; The frequency of smudging would depend on the size of the house and what is in it. Normally if you smudge every ten to twenty one days it will get the job done, Your calculator problem could be either or. Without talking to you from the house I can not tell. One smudge stick will be plenty unless you have a huge house. When you are done just put it out and wrap it in a plastic bag and save it for the next time. The smudge sticks come with instructions. if you have a problem please write in this section and I will help you.

I ask this because for a while now...i notice things that other people dont pay any attention to. I have always been a strong believer in the paranormal, as is my close family. We believe (me, my mom, and dad) that we have an earthbound spirit in our home. Mom is always tired, mom and dad have a lot of headaches (I used to but don't any more), our cordless phone always needs to be charged, our remote hardly ever works, I sometimes have trouble sleeping, our bird (we don't have it anymore) would start squaking and making a fuss for no reason, our cat (an outside cat) will look in the window and appear to be staring at something, mom has said she sees things out of the corner of her eye, dad says at 9 and 10 pm he can sometimes smell coffee brewing,and the list goes on and on. In fact, one morning dad felt something poke him in the shoulder which woke him up. This was fifteen minutes before it was time for him to get up. Mom said she felt something pull the covers towards her in bed. Mom believes the spirit followed us from the house we used to live in. That would mean the spirit has been with us for at least 11 years! Recently it has become more and more active and I was wondering if there is any way we can find out who's spirit it is, or any info. about it at all. Your help would be much appreciated. P.S. Hi Jennifer; The first question I would ask you is how do you know the spirits you are seeing are earthbound? To tune them out is a matter of using you mind. It might take a little practice. I do not know of any resource other than going to the book store and doing a little research to find something that you are comfortable with.

Your mother cleaned my sisters house a number of years ago and she has had only one reentry because a seed was removed. My daughter has become friends with a boy who is of American Heritage and seems to have some type of powers. He has told her many things that have gone on in our house and has come over and let us know about some of the spirits. While they were living there, the previous owners son was murdered. Now that the house is unoccupied, I see an upstairs light on occasionally. Sometimes the light is dim, sometimes bright. I don't know why the new owners moved out after living there for such a short time. Is it possible that this young man's spirit is there? Can I somehow help him? (This ring appears more in my mind's eye than in my physical vision.) Occasionally I also detect a strong, yet difficult to explain, smell accompanying these images. Since we moved here, my husband has gradually changed into a really angry person, which is a serious personality change for him. Anna Karadimas	Posted on Monday, March 13, 2006 - 10:27 am:    Dear Tara, Your mom is coming over Wed. March 15th. She confirmed to me that there are at least 2 males in the house. I know not to use holy water, as we have been through this before, back in '97 or '98, when we had about 7 or 8 spirts in the house, including one that was attached to Me since I was about 19 years old. I raised my sons here & they are both away most of the time in college. My seeds where removed last winter '05 by my boyfriend when he painted the house and did not know what "those things" were over all the entry doors in the house, except the laundry rom. which was not painted. I figured he'd remove them, but I simply forgot to address it and replace w/more seeds that i had in my jewelry box. Anyway, one of these guys does not "like" our kitten and i guess i already knew that before your mom called me back to confirm we had some unwanted visitors. One or both also "impersonate" my sons coming home in the middle of the nite, doors open, then shut downstairs, there is walking in the kitchen and foyer, and kitchen cabinets sound like opening and closing, i always "happen" to be awake and can here very well w/open foyer. There is alot more, but also goings on at Dan's building, Michauds T & C on Pearl Rd. This time seems alot worse but maybe i am more angry about it cuz i think they followed Dan home from that haunted bldg. I want to get a smudge stick but Mary's Ambergram store is not open today or Tues. I thought about using my incense burner from church which i used to do often, like my mom and grandmother taught us. Is that just like a smudge stick, since it burns & may weaken them until your Mom gets here?? I don't know if i can stand 2 more days & nites. I prayed alot last nite for the Lord to send us some guardian angels and i sensed that may have let me sleep finally, but then Dan was having a bad dream and i had to wake him up and this morning sure enough, he said he dreamt it showed itself to him and was indeed following me to the bathroom, in his dream. This spirit was seen by my son in his room, and sometimes in other areas of the house. Everything was fine for awhile, but strange things have been happening for the last couple of months, and my son is saying the "Guy" is scaring me, or the witch is in my closet, he also tells me that there is some one in the basement that "wants to join us". I read about bathing in salt water to help remove health problems -can you enlighten me again about what type of ,and how much to use? A friend of mine came home from work one day it was freezing outside she had turned the heat on (it was down to 50) and then went straight to her room to start folding laundry. She went to straighten out the comphorter on her bed and there was a warm spot on it. The kind of warm like someone had just gotten out of bed. She jumped back because it was unexpected. The house was empty all day there are no animals there and the temp was 50 in the house. My question is can spirts cause this? I have never heard of a spirt or anything to cause warm in a spot I thought it was always cold. Thanks!!! Hi Becky; The temperature change can be both warm or cold. It is only in the movies where it is only cold.

Hi Christina; Earth bound spirits become a problem when they occupy the same space as you. The health issues and the aggravation they can cause in a household is a real problem. When you talk to them you give them more energy. The more energy they have the more problems they can cause.

I always felt particularly close to him. My son and he had the same nickname without me knowing his mother called him that as a child. We also shared a birthday. I just always felt a special connection. When he died I was devastated. Shortly after the funeral, we started noticing Cardinals at out bird feeder, infact we had 2 pairs. He loved birds and particularly cardinals. For a year and a half we had these 4 birds visit us daily. We moved in September and I have yet to see one at our feeders. He will be sound asleep when I put him in bed, but then start crying when I leave the room or wake up in the middle of the night screeming. As soon as he is out of his room, he stops crying. At first, I thought it must be a cold or teething, but after looking through your FAQ's, a few things started to make sense and change my mind. When I was pregnant, I would get a creepy feeling when I walked past the babies room (this is our only child, so I am not sure if the earthbound spirit has always been there in this room since we didn't really use it before). Our dog would also always go potty in this room and she has been housebroken for about 3 years. We go through numerous light bulbs through our house (changing many of them every 1-2 months)and I have been having severe headaches lately. I have two questions 1) Can an earthbound spirit just appear? We have lived in our house for 3 years with no problems until now. 2)I want to call and leave a message for someone to call me and advise if an earthbound spirit is in my house, but my husband doubts we have a spirit or that they exist. How can you tell by talking to someone if an earthbound spirit is at the location with them? Hi Nikki; It is possible that you have an earth bound spirit in your house. Either my Mom or I would have to talk to you on a land line phone from the house to tell for sure what is going on. It is a long story how we are able to tell over the phone what is going on, but it does work. Sometimes spirits move into a house for various reasons. If you refer to the FAQ there are suggestions on how to try and calm the house. Having the house blessed or smudging will usually have a temporary calming effect.
Crystal Hall	Posted on Thursday, February 16, 2006 - 11:30 am:    Tara i need to ask you a really important question when we first were moving into this house my daughter was playing up stairs and came down and told me that there was a boy up there and he told her that that is his room that she should go down stairs about 3 minutes later she says mommy can i go uptairs and play with him he keeps asking me to now everytime that we go to the store she must buy him a toy is this boy being a threat to her. I have seen him only once when some family was spending the night and i thought that it was the little boy that was staying there overnight that came and woke me up telling me that someone was at the door so i yelled at him and told him to go down stairs and back to bed as i glanced up from bed i didnt see him any more so as i started down the hallway some one started banging on my door it scared me so i ran down stairs and checked to see if the little boy had been out of bed but he was sound a sleep. No one messes with it but I don't know if it is best to just throw it in the trash. Also, I on occasion smell the cigars my grandfather smoked. Is he trying to communicate with me. This happens to my mother as well. Hi Bonnie; The best way to get rid of the board is either to burn it or bury it. That way it is destroyed and no one will use it. It is very possible that your Grandfather is coming to vist you. The cigar smell is one way to let you know that he was there.

I'm having a hard time writing this because I've never believed in any type of paranormal existance before, but things have gotten to the point in our home that I can no longer deny it. My brother and sister-in-law live in Cleveland and my sister-in-law said that you came to her home years ago and helped tremendously. She said that you were the one who could help us. I'm really struggling with this. We have a two and a half year old and a ten month old little boy and it's to the point where almost every night they're waking up in their rooms screaming. My husband and I have been trying to make them stay in their rooms, but we finally got two video monitors with night vision so that we could see them in the dark and see what was "wrong" with them during the night. In our baby's room, he began to cry one night around two in the morning so we picked up the monitor and watched him on the screen and became paralized as a woman's face and then a little girl's face "appeared" beside him in his crib. The little girl was a beautiful looking 5 or 6 year old child with a bonnet tied around her head and the ribbon and bow under her chin. It looked as though she was a pioneer child or something. My husband and I couldn't move and we watched our baby in the monitor as these two were "with" him. We then ran in and pulled him out of his room and were afraid to put him back. Last night was even more unreal as our two year old son began to scream in his room so I picked up his monitor while my husband went to get him. This is the most unbelievable thing I've ever seen in my life. As our son began to become more intense trying to get my husband to take him out of his room, these "lights" began to appear and fling around his room. The more my husband tried to get our son back in his bed, the worse he screamed and these lights actually became more intense and grew in number and in speed. They were everywhere- all over his room. My husband carried our son into our room and I sat here in disbelief and said "Please tell me that you saw that...it was all around you guys." He said that he didn't see a thing and had no idea what I was talking about. I kept saying "Look at the monitor, watch this." while only one or two did it again. He did see them but it was nothing like it was when our son was there and upset. The event that has turned me into a believer was about an hour later when we tried to put him back in his bed after he had fallen back asleep. There were no lights, nothing was wrong, but within no time he woke up screaming again and we sat and watched and sure enough, the lights began coming back and were everywhere. Needless to say, we got both boys and pulled them into bed with us for the night. So, here it is, almost four in the morning and my husband and I are wide awake with our eyes glued to their monitors. Nothing at all has happened tonight but we're afraid to go to sleep. What in the world is this?! I have no understanding or knowledge of anything of this nature, but I can't dispute what we both saw. I just can't believe it. What are we supposed to do with this and better yet, what IS it? I hope that you can help because I have never been so scared in my life. Thank You. When I was younger, a spirit had been lingering outside of my home for sometime, and "grabbed" my arm. My question is would purchasing one for my trunk prevent spirits from attaching to my car? Two days later, I, my daughter and 2 of her friends were sitting in the kitchen when the overhead lights came on by themselves. I called Maryann to see if this could have been my husband. We talked about his death and the possibility that he feared being judged and may not want to go into the light. She advised me to instruct him after the funeral services how to go into the light. I told him that he would have to leave by Sunday and that if he did, I could talk to him in my dreams. I fell asleep Friday evening on the couch while watching TV downstairs. My daughter's boyfriend woke me and suggested I would feel more comfortable in bed. I went upstairs, got in bed and switched the TV on. Then I thought how silly that was as I fell asleep watching TV in the living room and would certainly not stay awake. So, I turned the TV off and put the remote on the nightstand. I was awakened at about 4:30 a.m. by a noise and rolled over to find the television on! I'm sure that was my husband. However, since that time, I have experienced no more ghostly phenomonen and have had dreams about my husband. Around New Year's, I was missing him more than usual and feeling very sad. I started to cry while at work. The office has "piped in" music (local station) and suddenly I was aware of a song by Rod Stewart, "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?" being played. This isn't something that you hear frequently. Later that same day at work, in the afternoon, I heard it again. On my way to a friend's house that evening, I heard it again. (3 times in one day) The next day at the grocery store, I heard it again. I didn't hear the song for weeks after that. Then, last week, my daughter and I were in the car, and we heard the tail end of a song that my husband said reminded him of me. We commented on it and continued on our errands. While shopping, we heard that song (the one that reminded him of me) in full and immediately after it, "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?" I always felt that, in life, my husband had things that were more important to him and that he didn't really love me as much as I loved him. Is it possible when reached the other side, he saw what was really important in his life and is trying to get me a musical message? Does that ever happen or am I reading too much into this? Please be upfront with your answer. Hi Judy; You said that you have had dreams of your husband so that tells me that he has crossed over. The best I can tell you on the music if it is related to your husband it is his way of showing you that he is ok.

She said she woke from a nap and the wall clock was moving across the wall. She's very uneasy. Any suggestions? Hi Shirley; Without some type of contact from your mother's assisted living I would have no way of knowing what is going on. It is not uncommon for earth bound spirits to be in that type of housing.

There were a lot of "visitors" living with us back then. You said that they all left willingly except the middle aged woman. Who you said just decided to leave out the front door promissing never to return. Before you ever came over, you convinced me of ALL OF MY SUSPICIONS. And that I am gratefull! You had so much detail of my home and decore etc. before you even came over!! However, I still think there is someone still living in my master bathroom and sometimes my bedroom. I even heard knocking (very loud) one evening. This makes me very uneasy and I have to sleep with the t.v. on! I feel it is a man and he is not nice. Can you confirm to me this fear? I have a had a few strange experiences since then. The first time I was home alone for a night I was watching a movie (one of the last ones I watched with my dad) and all of a sudden all I could smell was my dads cologne. I read the faqs and that was a common experience. When my dad passed my husband and I inherrited my dads truck, one of the first times we got into the truck I got in and slammed the door then none of the dashboard lights or the speedometer would work. Slamming the door in my dads truck was his pet peeve. He would always say "Jackie its a Dodge" after I smiled at my husband and said "Sorry Dad" everything worked. I've never had a ghosty experience but this is deffinately different. I understand that if you dream of someone then they have crossed over, which I have dreamed of my dad, but my question, is my dad trying to contact me or maybe letting me know he is watching me or ? Am I a little crazy? I had a dream just last week and my dad smiled at me and spoke to me and it felt so real is that my conscience or is it him? Hi Jackie; I would think by what you are telling me that your Dad is trying to let you know that he is ok. It is not uncommon to have the experiences that you are having after someone dies. Remember that you can talk to your Dad in your dreams. Before you go to sleep just say to yourself if I dream of Dad tonight I will talk to him. This usually will work.

Could there be something that was blocking the dreams before I smudged the house since I have not had dreams about him in a few years. Also, could the smudgeing have "helped" my dad get this job call. If so how long will the effects last and when should I re-smudge? Hi Erin; It could be very possible that there was something in the house, but without being there I can not tell. Earth bound spirits can effect your dreams. When you smudge it makes the spirits laid back and not as active. The dream bags on the web site use a herb called mugwort. It helps you remember your dreams. This is helpful if you do not remember your dreams. Depending on the size of your house and what is there you probably will have to smudge every two or three weeks.
Elizabeth M.	Posted on Friday, February 03, 2006 - 8:35 am:    At my job that I've had about 4 1/2 years, I tend to see people out of the corner of my eye when I'm walking though doors. I used to see a bloody, mangled man standing in the corner of the stair landing by the window, I would only see him for a split second. Our doors at work are mostly glass window doors with a wooden frame around it and sometimes I would see a shadow behind me or on the other side of the door or one as I'm coming around a corner, to where I think someone is coming around the corner to and I jump because I don't want to run into anyone, but there is no one there. I am not bothered by ghost and believe in them and my dreams. With the man on the landing I have even stood in the hallway and asked what he wanted from me and to leave me alone because he is scaring me. After that I would see him cleaned up in clean cloths but still standing in the same spot. This was about 2 1/2 - 3 years ago and now I only see a cream color shadow in one of the other hallways as I come out of the bathroom. Could someone be trying to tell me something or someone trying to contact me? Hi Elizabeth; It seems that you have the ability to see spirits. Without some type of direct contact I would not be able to tell you who is there or what they wanted or if they are earth bound or spirits that have crossed over.

Being somewhat skeptical on the whole notion of an "afterlife", she went along with the group just for fun. In one of the meeting areas, they were holding a session where psychics would walk around the room and try to connect with people who have lost loved ones. Well, one psychic happen to walk over to my wife's group and started mentioning a few names and events to see if anything was ringing a bell with them. The name metioned was "Charles" (which was the name of my wife's grandfather). Then all of a sudden, the psychic put her hands to her forehead and blurted out a name (which was my wife's maiden name) Evidentally "Charles" was trying to get her attention and by using her maiden name, it worked? The other event happened to me a few years ago. My grandmother passed away in 1988. She was loved and adored by the grandkids and the entire family. Her name was Louise B. (last name witheld), but was known by the nickname of "weezie". As a child, I had a little toy die-cast batmobile that I remember well. I set out on Ebay looking to buy one and was surprised to see how valuable they were. Well, after searching for just the right deal, I ran across a seller in Canada and made the purchase. Surprisingly, her name was Louise Baker, (same initials as my grandmother) and her email address was "weezieb@????.com. Maybe just a big coincidence, but I've always felt that it could have been "arranged" by a higher power. One more related story.... A year or so after my grandmother passed away, my brother received a dollar bill in change somewhere and to his surprise there was a first name signature on the bill. You guessed it, the name was Louise and it was an exact reproduction of my grandmother's handwriting. We've compared the signature to letters and cards that were saved and it is an exact match. He has saved this dollar bill and carries it with him ever since. Thank you for reading all of this. Any input from you would be appreciated. S Hi Seb; Thank you for sharing your stories. I, along with my firends have great appreciation for ghost huntings and more. But I heard you say this morning about the couples car which had nothing wrong with it but had a check engine light on. I ahve been in 4 car accidents and then I recently got a new car in November, there is nothing wrong with it, so i was wondering if that had anything to do with it? I had a friend die in a car accident in June 2005, she was around 5 months pregnant. Sometimes at night I can't sleep or anything and get "wide-eyed", although our house was built in 1995 and we are the first to live in it, is it possible for ghosts or spirits to be in our house, or following me around? Thanks again! Hi; It is very possible to have spirits in a new house. It is just the movies where the old house have the spirits. Since you have sold your old car there is no way to tell if there was a problem.
Silvia Corradin	Posted on Wednesday, February 01, 2006 - 7:45 pm:    Dear Mary-Ann & Tara my first son, Alex, was stillborn at full term, and my second son, Nicky, was born 18 months later with a brutal and lethal skin disorder called Epidermolysis Bullosa. I've always felt Alex's presence somehow, but I became certain of his presence on Alex's birthday when I was pregnant with my son Connor, when Alex's picture fell from the wall... twice. That picture never fell before, and never did again. Then my step-daughter was visiting one day-she's always been a little flamboyant and told me she saw Alex with the corner of her eye-she got the distinct feeling he was waiting for Nicky to die so they could cross over together. A known psychic in her area did a further reading on Nicky and told my step-daughter that Alex is putting undue stress on my living son and that he really needs to cross over or he will spin enough negative energy so that my living son will die before the end of the year. Nicky is not doing too well and we're trying to take care of him, a cure for his condition is near, and we feel he can live to see it. Here's my question: How do I get Alex to cross over? How do I know if he did? I know I can talk to him and tell him I love him and about who'se waiting for him on the other side, but on your site you state the light is not there after that initial window of a few days. Either myself or Mary Ann have never seen an infant or toddler that has not crossed over. Their guardian angels or a relative make sure that they cross. A sure way to know if someone has crossed over is if you dream of them or if someone else dreams of them.

I am on my own with 2 dogs who I love more than any human being. I am very lonely and wish I could find peace in my heart. When babies cross over do they grow into adults in spirit or do they stay babies. I try and contact spirits but with no success. If you could give me some insight I would be eternally grateful. The easiest way to contact spirits is thru dreams. Check in the store on dream bags. That will give you an idea on how to expand you memory of your dreams.

I have experienced strange feelings before in the same spot of my house. Like a curious presence getting very close when my eyes are closed. My eyes were closed when I was drying my hair. - My question is, what could the signifigance of numbers mean, if it was in fact a spirit telling them to me? If you can remember the numbers maybe you can see if the are a date of birth, death, anniversary, or some other important date for someone you know or are related to. It might be a good idea to contact a numerologist. Maybe that can shed some light on the meaning of the numbers.

Without protection on a house a earthbound spirit can come and go as they please. They do not need an invitation.

What are the chances of lingering spirits being the cause? Hi Debbie; There is a very good chance of spirits staying in that type of setting. Without being at the location I can not tell if spirit activity is the cause of your Mom's ill health, but it probably would not hurt to smudge her apartment. I work night shift, and when I went to bed this past Weds (1/18) I awoke suddenly because something hit my face. I looked around my room and saw a dime on my pillow. There was no one at home at the time but me and I know I felt that dime hit my cheek, it even stung a little. Several hours later, my 22 yr old daughter came home from school and asked me why I buttoned all her sweaters that were in the dryer. I had put her laundry in the dryer that morning but I certainly didn't button her cardigans. She never buttons them when she wears them and definitely didn't button them when she put them in the washer, but 3 of her sweaters were completely buttoned, from top to bottom, in the dryer. We both were a little creeped out, I thought it was strange but my daughter is much more sensitive than I and she feels very strongly that there is something going on we don't understand. We are moving out in less than 2 weeks, do you think this has any bearing on what happened? There have been other, widely separated, incidents over the years but this is the first time I've ever felt so odd about it. I was told about you from my friend/coworker Rhondi, your mom helped to cleanse her home awhile back and she told me to contact you. When you move if this spirit is attached to you or someone in your family it is probably going to follow you. If it is attached to the house it will probably remain. This is not unusual most children can see both earth bound spirits and ones that have crossed over. I can not tell which spirit she is seeing. Try not to dwell on this but do not discourage it either. If the presence in the house disturbs your daughter you should try to either smudge or have the house blessed. Me and my friends are avid ghost hunters and this was the only place where we were for sure proven of life after death . Hearing things from voices to weird noises . My question is , do spirits/ghosts really take offense to things , such as not asking for permission to take a picture , or commenting in a negative way . We walked through the TB hospital knowing we had to ask permission to take pictures , and had to be nice and repsectful so we dont upset them . Well we did the opposite because we havent ever had anything happen to turn our disbeliefs to beliefs . So when we were about to leave and we were outside , every time we said something negative about how it isnt haunted or theres no spirits , huge gusts of winds came through , and im never scared when we go , and at a certain point i got light-headed and i felt really weird , almost as if something bad was going to happen , and my g/f who isnt scared either , got fear in her eyes and started to cry overwhelmingly . She was wearing lays of clothes and a jacket , and she was screaming my back is hott , it burns , and when we got back to the car we lifted the clothes to find 2 long scratch marks from neck to hip . Why did this happen ??? Do you know anything about this place . I took a picture and in it i believe is a demon head! Hi; I know my Mom has heard of the Lima hospital, but to the best of my knowledge she has never been there. I do not think that it is necessary for you to ask permission to take a spirits picture. Mom and I are respectfull of the living and the dead. We have never been in the situation that you were in to see what kind of reaction there would be.

Since then we both have had a strong need to return to the scene and I often hear the young girl's request as I lay down to sleep. My question is to know the best way of continuing contact. Do we try to reunite the mother and daughter or continue to be a comfort to the child. Also the entire group was in tears as we left feeling we abandoned the child. My husband and I live in his ex wives house in which she grew up in as a child both of her parent are also deceased. I have a home in lakewood in which my parent s lived in. You can purchase the smudge stick at an metaphysical store or sometimes organic grocery stores. These two things will not remove the spirit but they will make it more laid back. Do not get holy water yourself and sprinkle it about, this will make the spirit more active.

Occassionally late at night out of the corner of my eye I seem to see a black shape on the stairsteps my wife has also seen the the same. Then just this New years Eve 2005 my wifes nephew and wife and kids were over and around 10:00 pm the oldest girl 14 and her friend 15 went down the basement by themselves we would hear them scream sometimes and figured they were just playing around then they came running upstairs and said they people down there and could see them in the mirror and that the radio station was changing. So I went down there but I didn,t see anything and the next day I didn't see anything either so I was wondering if you could tell me if I do have ghosts or not. We built our house new and have been in it for 8 years and nothingelse has ever happened here. I have dreamed about her often ever since. I lost my father when I was very young, but I have never had a dream or felt him around me or anybody else I have lost and how I wish I would. my question is why do I feel my mother-in-law around and not my father who I loved very much. thank you dar Hi Dar; Since you have dreamed of your mother in law she has crossed over. Approx 6 months prior the elderly man of the house committed suicide there. His wife had shown the house to us at that time. At one point on the tour of the home, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. The wife at that time was cooking something and for weeks after leaving there I could constantly smell the aroma of what she was cooking that day. Can you give me any insight on this experience? Second question--at times in my past I have seen individuals when they will be there looking at me and smiling, then turn around and they are gone. This happened the first time when I was in a car accident where nobody could have possibly been walking; I was okay from the MVA but then they were gone. The last time this occurred was at a shopping center when I was parking my car and I saw a woman, and then she was gone that quickly. Thanks so much! I feel his presance all the time. recently I was felling bad spirts, as i have a few times in the past. So I prayed alot like my dad had told me to do when I felt evil around me. so any way I did and layed in my bed one night for quite awhile when I looked over to where I felt the evil and I did'nt see anything bad but i saw what looked like bright little lights which formed the outline of a person, i felt very calm and at peace as I watched it come toward me and to the end of my bed and then it shot up quickly and out of sight. I felt totally safe and no more evil and fell quickly to sleep. i think this was my brother taking care of me but I've never seen the lighted outline shape before. am I right about it being him? any feed back would be great, thanks. I have had problems ever since i was a child. when i was younger i was very scared and shy all the time. always having trouble sleeping even till this day i cannot get a good sleep at night b/c i woken up by something or someone 4 to 5 times a night. ever since i was about 7 years old i have had problems of extreme exiety. This started ever since my grandfather had passed away. i can not go to church or hear and listen to ANYTHING do to the subject of GOD or life after death without suffering from breathing problems and extreme heart pomptations. I have been trying to talk with a few priests and they could never do much for me and i have took medications from doctors who thought they could help and was proved wrong they have no idea whats wrong with me. I have had been woken in the mist of the night to be pushed down into my bed i felt the force on each shoulder so powerfull that this 210pds man(myself) could not budge for a bout 10 seconds i thought mabe it was something to do with the house i was living in but its seems to follow me everywhere even to work. In the conversation she mentioned that constant upper respiratory problems may be a sign of potential presences in a home. Can anyone comment on this? Hi Annemarie; Spirits that have not crossed over need human energy to function. Younger children will have the chronic upper respiratory problems in houses that have earth bound spirits. Adults will have headaches or lower gi problems. These are the areas that are sometime affected when you share space with earth bound spirits.
Dana	Posted on Thursday, January 05, 2006 - 7:53 am:    Growing up my sisters and I were extremely afraid of the basement. It always had a eerie feeling associated with it and on many occassions you felt as if something was watching or hovering around you. In addition to this, we all had trouble sleeping in the house and both my sisters had a terrifying experience in one bedroom of the house where they woke up seeing a presence in the room or on the bed over them. I did not have an interaction like my sisters as I did not sleep in the one bedroom at any point however even into my teenage years I always had horrible nightmares in the house. These dreams would always consist of someone trying to hurt me and I would wake up terrified and not be able to return to sleeping without a light on. My husband also had a detailed nightmare while staying in the house of a man beating his wife to death in the basement. We never discussed these instances until after we were adults and did not know that we all had these feelings and situations happen to us while growing up until after we had all moved away from the home. When we mentioned it to our parents they excused it as overactive imaginations of their children but we always felt that their was a presence in the house. My husband and I have had our own home now for almost four years. Some of my fears still carry from our childhood home as I always feel that someone might be in a corner or watching me but I can't determine if this is me being overparanoid due to my past or if it is a presence. Unlike my childhood home, there is no room or location within my home that I am afraid of however I still find myself having a hard time falling asleep and often times wake up and look towards my bedroom door as if something or someone was standing there or going to be entering. I even sleep with my door closed and locked in fear that someone is going to reach me during my sleep. I ocaassionally still have the bad dreams as well but they are not as often and not as vivid as they once were. In addition to the constant feeling of being afraid when I sleep, in the last six years I have developed a skin rash on my face. It started out as something that would happen once or twice a year so my doctors contributed it to stress. It has continued to happen more often now though and the one I have now has been with me for almost a year. Just as I think it is going to go away, it resurfaces itself. My dermatologists are baffled as to what causes it and have tried almost every treatment in the book to cure it. I am wondering now if I still have a presence around me or an energy that is negatively effecting my life and how I can rid myself of it. Hi Dana; All i can address what is happening now. Earth bound spirits can not get into your dreams. It seems that maybe these dreams are nightmares. You could have earth bound spirits in your house, but can not tell for sure without contact.I am afraid I can not help you with your health issues.

I hear things like footsteps and things all the time, and very often I've commented to myself that sometimes my printer is possesed. Two times (different days) it even printed out a picture of two white eyes in the middle of a print-quality assesment sheet. They were perfectly shaped. My question though, is that I'm wondering if it's potentially dangerous that I work here, across the morgue, because I don't want to bring spirits home with me. My girlfriend Tabby Russo used to be able to see and communicate with spirits, but she's lost her ability and can not see them anymore. When she used to come to work with me and she had the "sight" she would usually see no less than 12 spirits in MY department, just lingering around. Please email me when you get a chance. Two days before Christmas my dog passed. On Christmas day I was very sad, and probably vulnerable. Since that day I have felt a presence in my bedroom. My dog used to sleep on my side of the bed, but the presence has left me feeling uneasy. I have had experiences in the past such as dreams, and one occurence of a presence. How do I know if this presence is my dog or some other spirit that I don't know? Because I am not familiar with this type of situation I'm scared at times. But I did have a dream about her where she got into the back off an ambulance(I think it was her mother on the strecther, who was concious) she then looked at me through thr back window and gave me the deaf "I love you" sign that we often used to each other as we were driving away from each other. We were together only 8 years, but so well adapted to each other(except for work) we were seldom apart. Does she want me to join her asap, will I get to see her when I pass on. What does it mean.
